About the Role

 

FORUM/Forthright is seeking a detail-oriented and professional Case Coordinator to support the day-to-day administration of arbitration cases and administrative hearings. This role is ideal for someone with prior legal or paralegal experience who enjoys managing multiple priorities, working independently within a team, and delivering excellent service to external parties.

You will be responsible for administering arbitration cases from initiation through resolution, ensuring compliance with established rules, procedures, and deadlines.

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage a caseload of arbitration matters in accordance with established rules and procedures
  2. Accurately enter and maintain case information in a proprietary case management system
  3. Review legal filings and documents for procedural compliance
  4. Identify and evaluate case management issues and escalate complex matters as appropriate
  5. Draft professional correspondence guiding parties through the arbitration process (without providing legal advice)
  6. Monitor, collect, and record payments for arbitration services
  7. Schedule and administer conferences, arbitrations, and mediations with parties and appointed neutrals
  8. Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and mail in a timely, respectful, and accurate manner
  9. Communicate effectively with internal team members and external parties
  10. Provide backup support for administrative staff, including mail handling and case entry, as needed

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, paralegal degree, or equivalent experience in a legal, customer service, or in-house environment
  • Previous legal or arbitration-related experience required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet sensitive deadlines
  • Professional, positive attitude with a strong commitment to customer service
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
  • High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
